Next week (16 March), Oxfordshire County Council’s Cabinet will have final sign off on the introduction of the scheme, as the highways authority.

If City and County Council’s Cabinets agree to the latest version of the pilot, Oxford will be one of the first places in the UK to introduce a Zero Emission Zone.

The work has been delivered at pace thanks to the £1.4 million of funding secured by the Oxfordshire Local Enterprise Partnership (OxLEP) from the Government’s Local Growth Fund.
