About the Ten Week Introductory Course in Practical Philosophy at Wesley Memorial Church
All are welcome to sample what the School of Philosophy has to offer through its introductory courses at Wesley Memorial Church, and to continue further with their studies if so inclined.
The course draws on the great philosophical ideas of East and West to examine the influences on our lives and to show the way to a deeper understanding of ourselves and the world around us.
It provides guidance on the practice of mindful living in daily life and on how to explore the ideas presented during each session through our own experience.
As the course is practical rather than academic, the emphasis is on personal knowledge and direct experience.
