Whether your child is interested in sport, arts, crafts or a bit of everything, ActiveCamps at Summer Fields School has activities to suit everybody. Children attending Active Camps will take part in activities ranging from large scale painting and mosaic masterpieces to team building games and obstacle courses.
The holiday camp in Oxford-Summertown is based at Summer Fields school. The children’s multi-activity camps are for children aged from 3 to 14 years and have a wide range of fun activities for kids to enjoy during the school holidays.
Summer Fields School is an independent preparatory day and boarding school for boys, set amongst 70 acres of outdoor space in the heart of Summertown. The camp features a selection of playing fields, a climbing wall, a sports hall, a golf course woodland area, a swimming pool. The facilities and wide-open spaces at Summer Fields make it a perfect location for the holiday camp.
Most importantly, your children are in a safe and secure environment for having fun. ActiveCamps have over 15 years of experience in making sure kids have the best school holidays ever!
Children will come home having had a day that not only develops them socially and physically but having enjoyed every minute of it!
The School gates will open automatically between these times. Unfortunately, the team cannot facilitate any collections between 4.00pm and 5.00pm.
Things will be a little different at Active Camps this holiday with new activities and games to ensure adherence to the social distancing guidelines!
Children will be part of a group or ‘bubble’ with a maximum of 15 children of similar ages. Each bubble will have consistent staff members throughout the day to keep the number of people that children come into contact with at the very minimum.
An individual camp kit will be provided for use each day, including equipment such as colouring pens and pencils, paintbrushes and a range of other arts and crafts equipment. All of this is to reduce the risk of infection by avoiding sharing equipment.
Activities will also be a little different at camp this holiday! The experienced Activity Leaders are hard at work coming up with fun new games to make sure everyone sticks to social distancing and show everyone that you can still have fun from 1+ metres!
Just to make sure your children are all set for camp, here’s a little kit list of what to bring to camp:
Preferably all in one bag that the child can carry with them (all labelled please!).
