Regrettably, the organisers of Auto Royale Concours d’Elegance have decided to cancel the concours indefinitely due to the government extending the final stage of lockdown relaxation by another four weeks. See the announcement.
More than two years in the making, Auto Royale is a modern reimagining of what the traditional Concours d’Elegance can be.
An exciting new event where modern British culture meets world-class automotive machinery in the luxurious yet accessible settings of Waddesdon, with a feast of fine food, exciting entertainment and engaging retailing.
According to the organisers, this Concours d’Elegance is not like any other British car event. It is as welcoming as it is exclusive, premium without being elitist. And it isn’t what you have come to expect from traditional Concours events.
It is a new, bold and genuinely exciting concept that aims to shake up the Concours culture and draw in a whole new community of automotive enthusiasts.
It is all about standing out. It is where the very best, most interesting, and most desirable classic and collectable cars in the world can gather in a contemporary and immersive automotive wonderland alongside the best of British culture, commerce and cuisine.
It provides the highest level of prestige without being elitist, as owners and collectors rub shoulders with enthusiast fans of the historic motoring lifestyle.
Auto Royale is about stories. Every car on show has one, and every story is proudly told. Whether it be one of faded glory, movie star provenance, exceptional rarity or of a life sweated out on the track – Auto Royale will educate as well as entertain its visitors.
