There’s a very secret Christmas story Santa likes to keep about a little reindeer – would you like to take a peep?
The reindeer’s name is Norbert, and although he’s very small, he has a giant dream he’d like to share with you all.
So if you’re fond of Christmas and can’t wait till Christmas Eve, head right down to Westgate Oxford and join in at “Believe”.
The Secret of Santa’s Little Reindeer grotto is back – and so is Norbert, the very special reindeer.
Little ones can look forward to making “reindeer food” for Christmas Eve, seeing Santa, and taking home a wrapped, age-appropriate gift.
Plus, all Believe ticket holders can enjoy a free Ice Cream Doughnut Sandwich at Dirty Bones. To claim, simply order one main meal from their ALC menu or one kids menu bundle per dessert.

This year, Westgate is hosting ‘Visit Believe – Santa’s Magical Reindeer Grotto at Westgate Oxford – where children will be entertained by a very special reindeer Norbert. – The secret of Santa’s little reindeer’ – children will be entertained by a very special reindeer puppet Norbert, they’ll make reindeer food in readiness for Christmas Eve, and each family will get a private session with Santa. All children will receive a wrapped gift of an age-appropriate book to take home.

The grotto is suitable for children aged 18 months to 10 years, but it really is fun for all.
Tickets to Believe at Westgate Oxford cost £12.50 per child (including a gift per child) and £5.50 per adult. A booking fee applies per purchased ticket at £1.25 per child ticket and 55p per adult ticket.
If you are bringing a baby on their own or want your baby to receive a gift, you will need to pay the full child price. Babes in arms under 12 months old accompanying a paying sibling who do not want to receive a gift are free of charge and do not require a ticket.
The booking fee covers the cost of issuing your tickets and the Customer Service relating to the grotto.
Yes, ‘Inclusive Relaxed Sessions’ are available for families with special needs – the sessions are adapted in several ways, including a more relaxed attitude to noise and lighting effects, to reduce anxiety and ensure a safe, enjoyable visit.
During an ‘Inclusive Relaxed Session’ our team will try to help everyone feel comfortable enough to talk, sing, dance and even shout out at any point during the experience.
The sessions are on Saturday 03, Sunday 04 and Thursday 15 December and are highlighted in green when you select your timeslot. If you require further information, please email firstname.lastname@example.org. If you cannot attend one of these sessions, we recommend booking a weekday or earlier times at the weekend.
Please ensure that you complete the special requirements section in the booking process, and they will try to accommodate you wherever possible. Please note that it will not be possible to reduce noise and lighting effects in open sessions, and the experience may be quite busy at peak times.
Yes. Registered carers are offered one free ticket for each paying visitor who requires care. For bookings that require a free carer ticket, please email the customer service team at email@example.com. Proof of entitlement will need to be shown on entry to the grotto.

Yes, you will be emailed an e-ticket. You can either print your ticket or show it on your mobile phone at the entrance to the experience. For tickets booked at the event box office for the same day, you will receive a printed one.
The organisers regret that they are unable to refund unwanted tickets. If the event cannot go ahead, then guests will be refunded. If you are unwell, they will try to accommodate you another time, subject to availability.
In exceptional circumstances, the organisers can change the time/date to any other available slot, but please ensure your date and time are correct at the time of purchase. Please note that changes cannot be made by Westgate’s Reception team. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
The organisers recommend you arrive at the event no earlier than 5 minutes before your pre-booked time slot.
Westgate has an underground car park across two floors. Westgate car park can be full during busy periods, so please allow plenty of time. If the Westgate car park is full, alternative car parks are available in Oxford city centre. Alternatively, please consider using one of the park and rides.
The nearest toilets and baby change facilities can be found in Westgate Social on the lower ground floor.
There is an area to park your buggy at the event space. Buggies are left at the owner’s risk.
There is full disability access throughout the Believe experience.
No, the organiser would ask that you refrain from eating and drinking at the experience.
No, but your magical moment will be captured with professional photography, and a memento will be available to purchase, including glitter globes, frames and Christmas baubles at the end of the experience.
