About the Cutteslowe Park Miniature Railway
The Cutteslowe Park Miniature Railway will be running locomotives for rides on Sunday 30 and Monday 31 August (Bank Holiday), Sunday 06 and Sunday 20 September, and Sunday 04, Sunday 18 and Sunday 25 October.
It will be a limited service on the Ground Level route only, and these dates are all subject to any new COVID-19 regulations. They do reserve the right to further suspend operations if the government changes the regulations at any time.
The raised level railway and the picnic area in the middle of the site will remain closed.
Anyone showing signs of coronavirus should not enter the site or ride the railway, social distancing must be observed, we will prefer card payments, hands must be sanitized on entry and exit of our site, face coverings should be worn, any instructions given by the railway staff must be obeyed, only one family to occupy a carriage at a time.
All of the carriages will be fitted with protective screens at the front, and hand gel will be available on site. It is anticipated that the loading and unloading times will increase as all carriages will have to be wiped down after every trip.
Please note that the railway will be open from 1:30pm to 5:00pm, except for the last week in October when it will close at 4:30 pm. Openings are subject to suitable weather and availability of staff.
To check the railway is open on running days please call 07503 314131.
Tickets are £1.25 for adults and children over 2 years; free for children under 2 years when accompanied by a fare-paying adult. Tickets can be purchased from the ticket office at the track and preference is for payment by debit/credit card.
