About Elephantastic! Family Fun
Have you herd? This half term we are celebrating extraordinary elephants and the colourful jungle inspired by the wonderful exhibition Elmer and Friends: The Colourful World of David McKee.
Discover the real Elmer and what we have in common in our live Zoom session and use your grey matter in our quiz – are you up to the tusk? Make an elephant puppet and jungle friend and plot a trunk tale to tell in your own jungle puppet theatre.
Enjoy songs and storytime with Maddy featuring Elmer’s Birthday by David McKee and solve the entertaining elephant puzzles. All from the comfort of your own home – it’s sure to be tonnes of fun for ivory-one!
Suitable for ages 3 – 11yrs. Age guidelines are given for each activity.
£5 per household. This gives you unlimited access to the online activities 13 – 21 February and the live Zoom session on the day you prefer. You do not need to have taken part in the live Zoom session before enjoying the activities.
You will be sent a link to all of the online activities the day before the start of Elephantastic! The link is only available to ticket holders and will be active for the duration of the event.
The live Zoom sessions will run on
- Monday 15 February at 1.30pm
- Wednesday 17 February at 11.00am, and
- Friday 19 February at 3.30pm.
The content will be the same for each session. Numbers are limited and pre-booking is essential.
Activities are available for the duration of the event and can be enjoyed at any time, before or after the live Zoom session.
Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Tickets may only be booked by an adult and adults must stay with their children during the live sessions. Only named ticket holders will be admitted to the live sessions. The sessions will be locked 5 minutes after the start time.
During the live sessions, cameras and mics should be turned off.
