About the Great Barn Festival 2019
The Great Barn in Great Coxwell has been a focal point within the West Oxfordshire landscape for centuries. Following on from the success of the inaugural 2018 event, the Great Barn Festival 2019 is here. It’s time to raise the roof in this most unusual venue.
On Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th June, the Great Barn is hosting a family-friendly Festival of the Arts.
All performances are individually priced, and a separate ticket must be purchased for each performance. There is a small admission fee to enter the venue, however, attendees with a valid ticket for any performance will be allowed free entry to the site on the day of the performance.
A wide range of free activities is also included in the cost of entry such as children’s arts & crafts, music, performances from local theatre and music groups, storytelling, circus skills, a silent disco and more!
The Great Barn Festival was begun in 2018, organised by Boxed Up Events in partnership with the National Trust. The festival has brought life, colour, laughter, music and theatre to this magnificent 13th Century Barn, a much loved local landmark.
Boxed Up Events is an Oxfordshire based company, initially, the kitchen table project of two determined mums with a strong background in marketing, PR and events management who firmly believe their creativity, enthusiasm and experience will help them make truly memorable events very achievable on every budget.
