Alina is a brand new classical orchestra for your local community. The orchestra has a simple mission statement: To provide everyone with access to classical music and its many benefits; to be accessible, inclusive, and a resource to support as many people as possible. 7.30pm – Music for a Royal Occasion at St Edburg’s Church
Join Alina Orchestra, led by Musical Director Hilary Davan Wetton to celebrate Her Majesty The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee in a concert featuring Handel’s Water Music and other ceremonial pieces.
9.00pm – Beacon Lighting at Bicester Heritage
Bicester Heritage will provide a historic backdrop for the momentous Queen’s Jubilee Beacon lighting ceremony in Bicester and will be open to welcome you to the Wriggly Monkey Brewery in the lead up to the beacon lighting.
