Carmina Burana is a cantata composed in 1935 and 1936 by Carl Orff, based on 24 poems from the medieval collection Carmina Burana.

This is one of a series of socially distanced chamber concerts at SJE Arts. The event will follow strict procedures. Seating will be preallocated by household.

Good to know

  • To allow as many as possible to attend, the organisers are offering two concerts of about 1 hour with no interval – one starting at 6.00pm, the other starting at 8.00pm.
  • For ‘Track and Trace’, please include your telephone number in the notes field of your order. The rules are that the organiser must record ‘first name, second name and telephone number for one member of each group’.
  • When you purchase tickets, the organisers also politely ask that you add a voluntary donation, equal to the price of a ticket, to support their work in the community and with children in Special Educational Needs schools.

This event is part of the Orchestra of St John’s Summer Festival 2021.
