Composed in memory of the Fauré’s father and performed at the composer’s own funeral, Fauré’s gorgeous Requiem speaks of a better world beyond this one. Its uplifting melodies and serene character will be performed alongside Brahms’ beautiful, ethereal Songs for Female Voices, Horns and Harp.
This is one of a series of socially distanced chamber concerts at SJE Arts. The event will follow strict procedures. Seating will be preallocated by household.
