About Oxford Bus Museum’s Father Christmas Days

In Victorian times, Santa travelled by a sleigh pulled by reindeer. More recently, he’s also well known to have travelled by steam train, but now he’s hopping onboard a vintage Oxford bus.

Visit Father Christmas in his bus grotto while enjoying a complimentary vintage bus ride. The buses will depart from Oxford Bus Museum at 12.15pm and 2.15pm on Sunday 10 and Sunday 17 December.

The Father Christmas Day & Free Heritage Bus Ride event is organised by the Oxford Bus Museum, whose collection includes vintage buses and coaches dating back to 1913, a collection of vintage bicycles and the Morris Motors Exhibition, which charts the story of the Oxford-based car manufacturer during the life of its founder, William Morris (Lord Nuffield).
