About the Oxford Half Marathon 2020
The Oxford Half Marathon 2021 is a flat and fast 13.1-mile route through historic Oxford on 17 October 2021.
The Oxford Half course takes runners through the pristine, winding streets of historic Oxford. The route begins at Broad Street in the city centre and passes through Old Marston village, the River Cherwell, Oxford University’s impressive Lady Margaret Hall, before finally finishing on Parks Road. The 2021 route will be confirmed in Spring 2021.

The Oxford Half Marathon 2021 is slated to start at 9:30am.
Good to know
- The Oxford Half ballot is now closed. Successful ballot applicants will be notified in April 2021 to purchase their places.
- The 2020 Oxford Half was postponed to 2021 and participants that did not request a refund from the 2020 event were automatically deferred to the 2021 event.
- In 2017, the organisers welcomed 8,371 runners at the starting line and their friends and family in the Race Village on Sunday 08 October. Here's a recap video courtesy of Virgin Sport.
