Sandi Toksvig is touring her new, one-woman comedy show.

Sandi realises some people harbour an ambition to be a National Treasure but following a misunderstanding with a friend has decided instead to become a National Trevor – half misprint, half Danish comedian, novelist, actor and broadcaster.

Expect tall stories, fascinatingly funny facts, really silly jokes, a quickfire Q&A and a quiz. Don’t expect tap-dancing, leotards or a forward roll.

Sandi Toksvig is undoubtedly one of the UK’s most loved comedians as well as being a hugely talented presenter. Familiar to many once only as team captain on BBC’s Call My Bluff and host of Radio 4’s The News Quiz, she’s now become even more popular as presenter of the cult-classic shows such as QI and The Great British Bake Off.

About New Theatre Oxford

There has been a theatre on George Street for almost 170 years. The first theatre was built in 1836, and a second in 1886. In 1934, the third New Theatre opened. The theatre has been owned by several different companies and undergone several name changes. It is now owned by the Ambassador Theatre Group and hosts everything from ballet and opera to musicals.

On performance days, the Box Office opens at 12:00 noon and closes 15 minutes after show start. If there is a performance on a Sunday or Bank Holiday, Box Office will open 2 hours before show start, and close 15 minutes after the show start.

There is a large air-conditioned bar with seating located below the Stalls foyer, two furhter bars in the Circle Foyer and one at the back of the balcony. All stocked with an array of drinks and snacks. There is a cloakroom located in the stalls bar. If this is closed please speak to a member of staff. £1 per item. It is free to ATG Theatre Card memebers.
