About the Service of Thanksgiving for the late Queen Elizabeth II at Christ Church Cathedral
The City of Oxford and Country of Oxfordshire will gather in the Cathedral for a service of remembrance of Her late Majesty on Sunday 18 September from 5.30pm, sung by the Cathedral Choir.
Christ Church Cathedral is the College Chapel as well as the cathedral church for the Diocese of Oxford. And the beautiful building is home to a vibrant worshipping community.
Members of the public are welcome to attend but must register on Eventbrite. The service will be livestreamed on YouTube.
The Cathedral also welcomes people who wish to say a private prayer, sign the condolence book for Her late Majesty The Queen, light a candle or lay flowers. The best times to do these are between 8.00am and 4.45pm.
