About Stage 3 of the OVO Energy Women’s Tour 2019
Stage 3 of the OVO Energy Women’s Tour 2019 (the high-profile British Cycling and UCI Women’s World Tour event) will start in Henley-on-Thames and end at one of the Oxfordshire’s most iconic locations, Blenheim Palace.
Starting in Henley-on-Thames, the 145.1km stage three race will traverse the Chilterns via Pishill to Watlington, before returning via the climb of Britwell Hill to Sonning Common and Goring.
Crossing the River Thames at Wallingford, the route will pass through Didcot, Harwell and Wantage, crossing the Vale of White Horse to Faringdon, before looping through the West Oxfordshire towns of Burford, Charlbury and finally Woodstock; the finishing line will be in the grounds of Blenheim Palace.
Estimated time of arrivals for the stage 3 race are as follows:
10:30 – Hart Street, Henley-on-Thames (Start)
11:00 – SKODA Queen of the Mountains climb – Pishill
11:18 – SKODA Queen of the Mountains climb – Britwell Hill
12:14 – Eisberg sprint – Wallingford
12:27 – Eisberg sprint – Broadway
14:34 – Blenheim Palace (Finish)
