About Standing with Giants
Standing with Giants at Blenheim Palace is an installation of 200 life-size Armistice Day soldier silhouette figures and 75 poppy wreaths currently on display by the Column of Victory.
The installation is the work of Witney-based artist Dan Barton, and are all made from recycled building materials. The art installation is in memory of The Unknown Soldier for The Royal British Legion, paying respects to our fallen heroes this Remembrance Day.
The Royal British Legion deliver vital care and services every day in support of serving members of the Armed Forces, veterans and their families. They help to ensure the highest quality of care for those suffering physical and mental health issues and help families that need time to reconnect.
The installation is free to view with a Park & Gardens ticket or a valid Annual Pass, and a pre-booked time slot.
