Activities in the Pleasure Gardens
Green Shoots/Healthy Living Workshops
27 to 28 July from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm
Learn about food journeys and growing your own food in this fun, drop-in workshop. Make a recycled pot and plant a seedling to take home.
Caribbean steel drums workshops
10 & 11 August at 12:00 pm, 1:00pm, 2:00pm, and 3:00pm
30 minutes of group workshops for all ages.
Butterflies, Bugs & Flowersrecycled art workshop
17 & 18 August from 11:00 to 4:00 pm

The Art of the Duel
Mondays & Tuesdays from 29 July to 27 August
Explore the codes, traditions and bloody history of duelling through a re-enactment of a dramatic duel with swords. Two experienced stage-fighting actors will bring drama and theatre to the Great Court.
Birth of the Bayonet
Wednesdays & Thursdays from 31 July to 29 August
See the experience of the soldiers at the Battle of Blenheim and the evolution and impact of the new battlefield weapon – the Bayonet. The Duke of Marlborough was a major innovator in the development, tactics and use of the bayonet which became key to his success.
