About Thame Arts and Literature Festival (TAL Festival) 2021

The Thame Arts and Literature Festival 2021 (TAL Festival 2021) is an inclusive, community-driven arts and literature festival that takes place in the picturesque market town of Thame.

The hybrid festival will see some Festival 21 events have a live audience. All events are available online to live stream. Tickets for live events are currently limited to maintain a COVID-safe environment.

Events will include Author Talks, Music, Literature, Plays, Readings, Debates and much more, plus several special events for younger readers. The events take place in various venues across Thame in Oxfordshire. 

Most of the venues are within a few minutes walk of each other and include.

Getting there

The nearest station is Haddenham & Thame Parkway which is some two miles from the town. There are regular bus services from there or (usually) plenty of taxis available. For full details see Chiltern Railways.

The 280/X8 bus service runs from Oxford to Aylesbury through Thame. Please check with Arriva for details.
