Join Dr Lauren Baker on a tour that examines the botanicals grown at the Oxford Botanic Garden and used around the world to produce alcoholic beverages.

Learn more about the plants that are used to create tequila, rum, beer and more, then top off your evening with a drink tasting after hours in the Conservatory.

The Origin of Alcoholic Drinks event runs in the week Oxford Botanic Garden is celebrating its 400th anniversary.

This event is part of Oxford Botany 400 - a celebration and count-down to 400 years of botanical research and teaching by the University of Oxford on 25 July 2021.
