About Wolvercote Community Market

Established in 2002, Wolvercote Community Market is the longest running Farmers’ Market in Oxford, and one of three in the North Oxford area. The market aims to provide the community with locally-produced great tasting food.

The Sunday market serves the community and visitors by providing fresh, affordable and ethically sourced food as well as a place to meet, eat and socialise with friends and neighbours. It also provides a free marketplace for local producers and crafts people.

Regular stallholders bring fresh fruit and veg, locally reared meat, sustainably sourced fish, artisan bread, cheese and milk. Other traders produce fantastic cakes, jams, chutneys, pasta, chocolates and even plants and soaps.

The market has an amazing range of freshly made dishes from diverse food regions – Japanese, Middle-Eastern, Asian, and the Mediterranean. There’s also a cafe that serves coffee, tea, cakes, and a ‘Full Wolvercote’ breakfast.

The market is open every Sunday from 10.00am to 1.00pm at The White Hart Community Pub in Godstow Road, Lower Wolvercote.

There is a Repair Café and bike clinic on the 2nd Sunday of each month
Bring along your broken small electrical item, and a trained volunteer will try to fix it for you and save it from the landfill. They also have volunteer mechanics to provide tune-ups and repairs, and to offer advice to get your cycles rolling smoothly.

If you’re arriving by bicycle, there are plenty of bike racks and a regular bike.
