DESCRIPTION:Easter Adventure Trail at High Lodge Farm Abingdon\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout Easter Adventure Trail at High Lodge Farm Abingdon\n\n\n\nAre you ready for an egg-citing Easter adventure? \n\n\n\nSpring has arrived at High Lodge Farm\, Abingdon and a little egg called Eddie is about to have a big day! \n\n\n\nPick up an activity sheet and join Eddie on his woodland adventure as he meets all sorts of eggy characters along the way. \n\n\n\nDon’t forget to complete the action-packed woodland challenges\, including the climbing wall\, rope swing\, striding stilts\, tyre racing and crawl through the giant tunnel! Solve the Easter anagram and collect your free chocolate on the way home. \n\n\n\nTickets include woodland trail and activity sheet\, Play Patch access with garden games\, sandpit\, straw bales\, farm tractor and lots more! Barrel train rides around the farm are extra (£3pp). \n\n\n\nRefreshments include Oxfordshire burgers and hot dogs\, Jason’s sourdough toasties as well as barista-made hot drinks\, cakes\, bakes\, flapjacks and cookies. \n\n\n\nThe trail promises back-to-basics farm fun for children aged 1 and upwards\, tonnes of fresh air and probably a fair bit of mud… please dress appropriately. From the rampant lion to a couchant unicorn\, all the animals and colours you can see on a coat of arms have a symbolic meaning to be uncovered. Use your knowledge to craft your own heraldic shield. \n\n\n\nThe session runs from 11.00am to 1.00pm. Drop in between these times\, but make sure you leave enough time to complete the activities. \n\n\n\nBooking in advance is recommended to secure your place. Sales from tickets help support the museum’s work to deliver fun and accessible family activities\, community engagement projects\, schools’ workshops\, exhibitions and special events for Oxford’s people in the Museum spaces. \n\n\n\nAccess \n\n\n\nThe Museum is accessible for wheelchair users\, buggies\, and baby carriers. There is step-free\, level entry access to the Town Hall via the entrance closest to Carfax (to the left of the main steps as you face the Town Hall). Inside the Museum\, Museum Makers is accessible via a platform lift and lift to the basement level. Accessible toilets are available in the Museum (close to Museum Makers) and in the Town Hall on the ground floor\, before entering the Museum. \n\n\n\nPlease contact the Museum team if you’d like to talk to a member of staff about your access requirements.
