DESCRIPTION:The Furrow Collective\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout The Furrow Collective\n\n\n\nDrawn together by a shared love of the traditional song and balladry of England\, Scotland and beyond and an open\, intuitive approach to collaboration\, The Furrow Collective share timeless songs of this world and others\, with storytelling at their heart. \n\n\n\nIt is this storytelling focus upon which the band are set to expand with their upcoming project Cantastoria\, including digital single releases and the use of visuals\, both in their music videos and live performances.  \n\n\n\nLucy Farrell\, who is a talented visual artist as well as musician\, will create ’crankies’ for each single\, illustrating the stories of the songs. The facility was opened in 2007\, and offers a fully flexible 200-seat theatre\, a public art gallery\, as well as studios for dance and drama. \n\n\n\nThe centre is owned by St Edward’s School and shared with the city\, and it was created for the benefit of emerging artists across a range of disciplines.
