He is also a popular TV presenter – he has hosted The Michael Ball Show on ITV1\, his first TV travelogue\, Wonderful Wales on Channel 5 and most recently an Easter Sunday special for the BBC. \n\n\n\nHe regularly tours the UK as a concert artist and has sold millions of albums over the last 30 years; he’s performed in Australia\, China\, USA\, Japan and\, in 2007\, made his BBC Proms debut: An Evening with Michael Ball at the Royal Albert Hall which marked the first time a musical theatre star had been given a solo concert at the Proms.  \n\n\n\nIn 2016\, he released Together\, a collaborative effort with close friend and singer Alfie Boe that featured performances of classic songs. The album became the UK’s best-selling album of 2016 and beat the likes of Little Mix and The Rolling Stones to the Christmas No.1 spot. \n\n\n\nBall & Boe then released Together Again\, which brought the pair another No.1 album in 2017\, and Back Together\, which landed them the No.2 spot in the Official Albums Chart.  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n \n \n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nIn 2020\, Michael and Alfie released their first festive album\, Together at Christmas\, featuring old favourites and originals. After learning to write and record remotely\, every track had an inspiring story to tell. \n\n\n\nHis debut novel\, The Empire\, was published in Autumn 2022 and became a Sunday Times Bestseller. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTickets\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPlease see important booking information below. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nBooking information\n\n\n\nPrices:From £51.80Tickets are subject to a transaction fee \n\n\n\nDates & times:Doors open at 7.00pm \n\n\n\nAge guidance:Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult \n\n\n\nDuration:This show has an interval \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout New Theatre Oxford\n\n\n\n\n \n \n \n \n\n\n\n\n\n \n \n \n \n\n\n\n\n \n \n \n \n\n\n\n\n \n \n \n \n\n\n\n\nThere has been a theatre on George Street for almost 170 years. Collier of Putney in an Italianate style and\, by 1875\, was Witney’s leading building. \n\n\n\nFrom the outset\, it was used for social events and meetings as well as corn dealings and housed several clubs and societies. The building continues to fulfil this purpose and will continue to do so in the future. \n\n\n\nWith the 19th-century building incorporating all the character you would expect\, plus the addition of modern facilities\, and not forgetting the in-house café and bar 1863\, The Corn Exchange is a destination and focal point for the people of West Oxfordshire and beyond. \n\n\n\nDiscover more about the Corn Exchange\, Witney\, including travel\, access and venue information.

SUMMARY:Sinatra: Raw
DESCRIPTION:Richard Shelton in Sinatra: RAW\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout Sinatra: Raw\n\n\n\nThe critically acclaimed\, multi-award-winning show ‘Sinatra: RAW’ stars actor and singer Richard Shelton\, accompanied on piano. \n\n\n\nWolverhampton-born and fondly remembered from TV’s ‘Emmerdale’\, Shelton is internationally acclaimed as one of the world’s best interpreters of Frank Sinatra’s music. ‘Sinatra: RAW’ brings to life the man who defined an era and whose musical legacy will never die. \n\n\n\nPalm Springs\, 1971 – Frank Sinatra prepares for his last pre-retirement intimate show. But his blue eyes are red-rimmed with memories and regret. He drinks ‘One For My Baby’ too many when things take an unexpected twist. This is the 2.00am Sinatra you dream of meeting – dangerous\, unpredictable\, brilliant. \n\n\n\nRegrets? He’s had a few. Sinatra gathers a few friends together in the Purple Room at Palm Springs to sing a few songs around the piano\, smoke a few cigarettes and reminisce. As the Jack Daniels goes down\, the memories surface. He rails against the iniquities of Mafia allegations\, a trail of broken love affairs\, a life as the leader of the Rat Pack and a life in Hollywood littered with indiscretions and even a suicide attempt. \n\n\n\nAt the heart of it is the great love of his life\, Ava Gardner – arguably the most beautiful actress in Hollywood and known as ‘The Body’. She’s no pushover and meets him drink for drink and punch for punch as he recalls the heartbreak of their doomed love affair and marriage. \n\n\n\nDespite it all\, Sinatra emerges triumphant in a belting rendition of ‘That’s Life!’\, summing up the substance of the man\, and we see what made him such an enduring icon. \n\n\n\nRichard Shelton’s masterful take on Ol’ Blue Eyes is a must-see. Pitched somewhere between concert and confessional\, this modest show has greatness in it. Shelton’s vocals are remarkable\, manifesting not only Sinatra’s sliding rhythms and nuanced phrasing but also the timbre of that famous instrument. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nReviews\n\n\n\n\n“His voice wraps you up. It helps that the Sinatra songbook contains pure gold. But\, again\, the veracity of Shelton’s flinty performance adds a fillip to his interpretations of the music.” \nThe Times\n\n\n\n\n“This show packs a surprising emotional punch and Shelton delivers terrific versions of Sinatra’s greatest hits. No wonder the production sells out all over the world.” \nThe Spectator\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTickets\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPlease see important booking information below. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nBooking information\n\n\n\nTicket prices include a £1.00 Restoration Levy\, a £1.25 Booking Fee and a 25p Community Fund Levy. \n\n\n\nDuration:110 munites\, including an interval. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout Kenton Theatre\n\n\n\n\n \n \n \n \n\n\n\nSituated in the centre of Henley-on-Thames\, the Kenton Theatre is the fourth-oldest working theatre in the UK and a registered charity.

SUMMARY:Nick Mason’s Saucerful of Secrets
DESCRIPTION:Nick Mason’s Saucerful of Secrets\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout Nick Mason’s Saucerful of Secrets\n\n\n\nNick Mason’s Saucerful Of Secrets is returning to the UK this June. Having last played live in the UK in May 2022 with the Echoes Tour\, they have since played extensively through the US and Europe\, including a show in Pompeii in August last year – a venue\, of course\, synonymous with the music of Pink Floyd. \n\n\n\nNick Mason says… “Six years ago when I got behind the drums again and we started playing the early Pink Floyd material\, it was a real pleasure on so many levels. Many of the tracks had never actually been played live\, so to have performed them all over the world has been something we’ve all enjoyed immensely. To get the opportunity to come back to the UK for another tour is something the band and I had been hoping we would be able to do\, so to say “we’re back” feels good!”  \n\n\n\nFormed in 2018\, Nick Mason’s Saucerful Of Secrets are Nick Mason\, Gary Kemp\, Guy Pratt\, Lee Harris and Dom Beken\, and they play Pink Floyd’s celebrated and significant early body of work\, including tracks from the era of 1967’s ‘The Piper At The Gates of Dawn’ through to 1972’s ‘Obscured By Clouds’ which has included a much-lauded rendition of the 23-minute epic ‘Echoes’. \n\n\n\nVery few bands are as culturally important as Pink Floyd. They are one of the best-selling music artists of all time\, and Nick Mason is a co-founder and the only constant member of the band performing on all of their albums as well as all of their live shows. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nNick Mason’s Saucerful of Secrets\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nReviews\n\n\n\n\n“The sheer joy and vigour of the band’s performance is as infectious as it is tangible.”—Ian Fortnam\, Classic Rock Magazine \n\n\n\n\n\n“It’s apparent we are witnessing something incredibly special.” —Jerry Ewing\, Prog Magazine \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWhat the critics say\n\n\n\n\n“…this was the most extraordinary and joyous show.”—Michael Hann\, Financial Times \n\n\n\n\n\n“What a joy it is\, then\, to see Mason back on stage leading a new band devoted to Floyd’s pre-Dark Side of the Moon days.”—Dominic Maxwell\, The Times \n\n\n\n\n\n“The sound was immense\, electrifying\, galvanising\, mesmerising and still deeply strange\, bending the formats of primal rock into all kind of weird and wonderful shapes.”—Neil McCormick\, The Daily Telegraph \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTickets\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTickets are subject to a transaction fee. \n\n\n\nPlease see important booking information below. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nBooking information\n\n\n\nThis is a seated venue.
