DESCRIPTION:Freya Ridings \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout Freya Ridings \n\n\n\nFollowing the announcement of her forthcoming album Mother Of Pearl\, Freya Riding will be coming to New Theatre Oxford. \n\n\n\nSince breaking through with Top 10 single ‘Lost Without You’ back in 2017\, Ridings has cemented herself as one of the UK’s most impressive vocal talents\, with the ability to turn her hand to tender balladry and powerful air punch moments alike. \n\n\n\nThat break out single has\, to date\, been streamed almost half a billion times on Spotify alone\, while 2019’s self-titled debut album and 2023 follow-up ‘Blood Orange’ both landed in the Top 10 of the UK Album Charts\, sending Ridings around the world and landing her a BRIT nomination for Best Female Solo Artist. \n\n\n\n\n \n \n \n Freya Ridings \n\n\n\nGoing into her third album – set for release in May 2026 -Freya Ridings is not the same artist she was before. She’s had to reach down into the depths and find reserves that she didn’t know she had\, and in doing so\, she’s tapped into a rich seam of anger and wisdom and womanhood that feels as timely now as it ever was. \n\n\n\nAs she says\, “Getting to create\, sing and play these songs and have them exist in the real world\, that feels like winning to me.” \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTickets\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPlease see important booking information below. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nBooking information\n\n\n\nTicket prices: \n\n\n\nFrom £39.61 to £107.31 \n\n\n\nTickets are subject to a transaction fee of £3.95 \n\n\n\nDates & times: \n\n\n\nSaturday 03 October 2026 \n\n\n\nDoors open at 7.00pm \n\n\n\nRunning time: \n\n\n\nThis show has an interval \n\n\n\nAge guidance: \n\n\n\nU16s must be accompanied by an adult.  \n\n\n\nGood to know: \n\n\n\nThis is a seated venue. Kennedy will be accompanied by long-time collaborators Alec Dankworth\, son of the late John Dankworth and Cleo Laine\, on double bass and the great cellist Peter Adams. \n\n\n\nKennedy’s adventurous approach and comprehensive mastery of the violin mean his concerts will\, as always\, go straight to the heart of the British public. SUMMARY:What’s Love Got To Do With It? A Tribute To Tina Turner
DESCRIPTION:What’s Love Got To Do With It? A Tribute To Tina Turner at New Theatre Oxford\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout What’s Love Got To Do With It? A Tribute To Tina Turner\n\n\n\nAfter a sensational 2025 that saw over 60\,000 Tina Turner fans across the UK singing\, dancing\, and having the time of their lives\, What’s Love Got To Do With It? is back and bigger than ever for 2026! \n\n\n\nThis electrifying tribute show celebrates the music and unparalleled career of the one and only Queen of Rock ‘n’ Roll\, Tina Turner. Get ready for an unforgettable evening of high-energy\, feel-good rock and soul\, brought to life by a phenomenal live band. \n\n\n\nPacked with all the classic hits you know and love\, the show delivers showstopping performances of Proud Mary\, River Deep – Mountain High\, Simply The Best\, Private Dancer\, Nutbush City Limits\, and many more. \n\n\n\nStepping into Tina’s iconic heels is Kent’s own Holly Bannis\, the daughter of Greg Bannis\, former lead singer of Hot Chocolate. \n\n\n\nHolly’s rise to center stage is as inspiring as it is exciting. Growing up in a musical family\, Holly honed her craft for over a decade performing semi-professionally before an audition on ITV’s Starstruck changed her life. “I had to audition as three of my musical icons\, and Tina was an obvious choice for me. During lockdown\, I studied her performances obsessively\, getting into her moves\, her walk\, and her energy.” \n\n\n\nIt wasn’t long before the team behind What’s Love Got To Do With It? noticed Holly’s raw talent and passion. Initially cast as a backing singer and understudy\, Holly quickly stepped into the spotlight\, making the lead role her own and earning standing ovations night after night. \n\n\n\nAudiences can expect a show bursting with energy\, emotion\, and that signature Tina fire. The production kicks off with hits like Private Dancer\, as Holly fully inhabits Tina’s powerful vocals and unmistakable moves\, transporting fans to the heart of a live Tina Turner concert experience. Then\, in the show-stopping second half\, the audience is guaranteed to be on their feet\, dancing and singing along to high-octane classics like Nutbush City Limits. \n\n\n\nWhat’s Love Got To Do With It? isn’t just a concert – it’s a celebration of Tina Turner’s legacy\, a night of unrelenting joy\, and a tribute to one of the most electrifying performers in music history. \n\n\n\nPlease note that this is a tribute production and is not endorsed by or affiliated with the Tina Turner Estate. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWhat’s Love Got To Do With It? SUMMARY:Jack Savoretti
DESCRIPTION:Jack Savoretti\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout Jack Savoretti\n\n\n\nJack Savoretti’s ninth studio album\, We Will Always Be The Way We Were\, is a bold return to his musical roots\, recorded at Eastcote Studios in West London. \n\n\n\nMarking 20 years since his debut album Between the Minds\, the record finds Savoretti reconnecting with the raw storytelling and cinematic soul that defined his earliest work. \n\n\n\nWritten and recorded with his long-time touring band\, the album celebrates the craft\, camaraderie and creative freedom that have carried him through two decades at the forefront of British songwriting. \n\n\n\n“This is a full-circle album\,” says Jack. “It’s going back to my roots\, to the neighbourhood where I first started making music – with the same friends and musicians I met around Ladbroke Grove and Portobello Road. It’s the album I always wanted to make when I was starting out but didn’t yet have the courage or experience to make. Now I do.” \n\n\n\nJack’s current single\, the title track from the album\, has just been added to the BBC Radio 2 A List and the beginning of the month saw him performing the track on Graham Norton. \n\n\n\n\n \n \n \n Jack Savoretti\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTickets\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nBooking information\n\n\n\nDate & time: \n\n\n\nSaturday 07 November 2026 \n\n\n\nDoors open at 7.30pm \n\n\n\nAge guidance: \n\n\n\nU16s must be accompanied by an adult 18+.                                       \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout New Theatre Oxford\n\n\n\n\n \n \n \n \n\n\n\n\n\n \n \n \n \n\n\n\n\n \n \n \n \n\n\n\n\n \n \n \n \n\n\n\n\nThere has been a theatre on George Street for almost 170 years.
