DESCRIPTION:Decades of Dance\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout Decades of Dance\n\n\n\nAlison Jayne School of Dance Presents Decades of Dance. \n\n\n\nJoin us for an entertaining and colourful performance of ballet\, modern\, tap\, and street dancing when our young performers take to the stage. \n\n\n\nThis is our bi-annual dancing show and students ranging from 4 to 18 will be dancing to a varied selection of music from the last 10 decades. \n\n\n\nThis show oozes family fun and gives our young performers the opportunity to grace the stage\, building their confidence\, stage skills\, and\, love of theatre. \n\n\n\nThis show is not to be missed. Seating 240\, the theatre today offers a varied programme of comedy\, drama\, music\, talks and more – as well as being available for hire. \n\n\n\nThe theatre is home to annual performances from Henley Amateur Operatic and Drama Society (HAODS)\, Henley Children’s Theatre\, Henley Drama Festival\, Henley Literary Festival\, Henley Players\, Henley Youth Festival\, Mike Hurst\, the National Youth Jazz Orchestra (NYJO)\, Woodley Light Operatic Society\, amongst others. High-profile performers at the Kenton in recent years include Michael McIntyre\, Georgie Fame\, Haley Mills\, Chris Barber\, Dara O’Briain\, Diana Rigg\, Russell Brand\, PP Arnold and Marti Webb. \n\n\n\nThe theatre’s first production\, the farce The School of Reform took place on 07 November 1805.
