As ever\, the Scramblers membership will bring an eclectic mix of machinery to the Avenues. \n\n\n\nFamily entertainment will be provided by The Little Top\, with more hands-on activities courtesy of the ever-popular Mini Landers and Reserve Rangers. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWhat to expect\n\n\n\nStep inside the workshops and showrooms of industry leaders\, peeking behind the curtain of the finest of their craft at the most evocative of settings. \n\n\n\nYou’ll find avenues lined with classic\, vintage and modern collector cars\, from Austin Seven to the latest hypercars\, and curated displays celebrating the extraordinary. \n\n\n\nThere’s entertainment for all ages\, food for all tastes and history at every turn. \n\n\n\nCar displays \n\n\n\nThe avenues will be lined with cars from the Scramblers membership\, from prewar specials and postwar luxury to modern performance and classic cars\, while curated displays and celebrations bring an eclectic mix. \n\n\n\nExplore our base \n\n\n\nWander the tree-lined avenues\, with history at every turn. The Heritage Trail reveals the stories hidden between the red-brick walls\, and specialists open their doors to give you a glimpse inside. Many of the buildings are listed and have been meticulously preserved\, along with some of the fascinating features within. \n\n\n\nFamily fun \n\n\n\nEvery age is accounted for at a Scramble\, whether it’s the very earliest future car enthusiast or the young at heart. The Little Top is a popular fixture with free activities and crafts. A fun family day visited by thousands every year\, many of whom return annually because they have enjoyed it so much. \n\n\n\nIn the main ring is a working display of farming equipment\, Shetland pony racing\, scurry racing\, grand parades of animals\, classic cars and vintage tractors\, and more… \n\n\n\nThe show is organised by the Henley and District Agricultural Association\, a local charity supporting other agriculturally related organisations. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTickets\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTickets can be purchased online (using the link above) and on the gate on the day. DESCRIPTION:Stowe House Christmas Gift Fayre\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout Stowe House Christmas Gift Fayre\n\n\n\nStowe House is excited to announce that the popular Christmas Gift Fayre is returning after a break of seven years. \n\n\n\nStowe is opening the doors of its magnificent State Rooms in the hope that we can share in the festive atmosphere together.  \n\n\n\nYou’ll be able to explore the House and view the newly refurbished State Dining Room whilst browsing over 50 stall holders\, all from the local area.  \n\n\n\nYou’ll find plenty – from jewellery\, candles\, homeware and womenswear to gin\, cheese\, cakes and\, of course\, gifts for your furry friends… to name a few.  \n\n\n\nThere will be plenty of fun for your little ones with a range of activities such as bauble painting and festive face painting\, and of course\, it is the perfect time to write their letter to Santa!  \n\n\n\nFeeling peckish? Warm yourself up with a mulled wine or hot chocolate and grab a festive bite from the food vans whilst enjoying the view of the House from the North Front.  \n\n\n\nIf history is your passion\, the House team will be here to discuss the history of Stowe House\, and there will be several historical objects on display.  \n\n\n\nTickets can be booked online using the link below. \n\n\n\nPre-booked tickets are available at £5.00 for adults and £3.50 for children. Under 5’s go free! National Trust members tickets are available at £4.00. For the musically minded\, there will be an opportunity to play your favourite Christmas tunes with The Junk Orchestra’s giant Music Mushrooms.  \n\n\n\nThere will also be plenty of food to keep you fuelled\, including tasty relishes made from surplus fruit and veg from the Wonky Food Company\, street food dishes from the Climatarian Kitchen\, and delicious Middle Eastern food from Damascus Rose\, a social enterprise supporting refugee women in Oxford. \n\n\n\nAs if that wasn’t enough\, there’s ample opportunity to get hands-on in the lead-up to Christmas. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nFriday Lates\n\n\n\nEach Friday will see WasteLess Wonderland host ‘Friday Lates’ from 5.00 to 9.00pm.  \n\n\n\nGuests can look forward to a pop-up bar from Toast\, with the company’s award-winning craft beer brewed with surplus fresh bread that would otherwise go to waste – plus\, to make that pint even more feel-good\, Toast’s profits go to charities working to fix a wasteful food system. \n\n\n\nFriday Lates will also include the ‘Recycled DJ Party’ with Charity Shop DJ\, using vinyl records sourced solely from charity shops. Participants will have the chance to see how a small-scale design studio works and join in a star-making workshop – adapting\, fixing\, overlaying and uniting wasted wood to design their own star decorations. \n\n\n\nCharlie Boyden is a young British designer\, artist and maker working with wood and other playful materials. From his studio workshop in East London\, he prototypes and makes objects of strange desires. Team up with Chloe Baines in an upcycling workshop and breathe new life into garments you already own.  \n\n\n\nFrom shortening an evening gown to turning your pullover into a reversible Christmas jumper\, reinvent your most treasured Xmas party outfits with Chloe Baines.
