SUMMARY:The School For Scandal
DESCRIPTION:The School For Scandal\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout The School For Scandal\n\n\n\nBy Richard B Sheridan \n\n\n\nWith Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air\, RSC and Shakespeare’s Globe star Joseph Marcell \n\n\n\nGossip never goes out of fashion. \n\n\n\nSir Peter Teazle (Joseph Marcell) believes his young wife is sleeping with someone else. She isn’t. \n\n\n\nBut she’s starting to think if her husband believes it\, she may as well give it a go. After all\, if you’re going to cause a scandal\, you might as well enjoy it… \n\n\n\nDeliciously naughty and outrageously silly\, this timeless comedy is a masterclass in social satire and the art of gossip. \n\n\n\nReimagined into the 20th century and featuring an unforgettable cast of larger-than-life characters\, each armed with a lacerating wit\, The School for Scandal is one of the greatest comedies ever written. \n\n\n\nExpect a lightning-paced evening of romance\, revenge and rollicking fun that promises to leave you entertained\, enamoured – and perhaps even a little scandalised. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nReviews\n\n\n\nReviews from Tilted Wig’s production of Around The World In Eighty Days \n\n\n\n\n“Pure theatre magic\, you don’t want to miss this.” \nYork Mix\n\n\n\n\n“Thundering laughs and giggles…a great feel-good show.” \nWest End Best Friend\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTrailer\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTickets\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPlease see important booking information below. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nBooking information\n\n\n\nDates & times:Tuesday 04 June at 7.30pmWednesday 05 June at 7.30pmThursday 06 June at 2.30pm and 7.30pmFriday 07 June February at 8.00pmSaturday 08 June at 2.30pm and 7.30pm \n\n\n\nAge guidance: 10+ \n\n\n\nDuration:155 munites\, including an interval. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout Oxford Playhouse\n\n\n\n\n \n \n \n \n\n\n\nOxford Playhouse and its Burton Taylor Studio present and produce several live performances and feature a rich array of British and international dramas\, family entertainment\, contemporary dance and music\, student and amateur shows\, comedy\, lectures and poetry. \n\n\n\nThe Playhouse not only produces and tours its own theatrical productions\, but it also fosters creativity through its Artists in Residence program and the Playhouse Plays Out series\, which brings unique events to various locations across the county. \n\n\n\nThe theatre’s Participation Team engages over 15\,000 individuals annually\, offering an extensive range of activities\, including post-show discussions\, workshops\, work experience opportunities\, holiday programs\, a youth theatre\, and a company for young performers. \n\n\n\nOxford Playhouse stands dedicated to its mission of being a Playhouse for all\, striving to ignite inspiration and bring about transformative experiences through its commitment to creativity on its stages\, within its community and online. \n\n\n\nDiscover more about Oxford Playhouse\, including travel\, access and venue information.
