DESCRIPTION:Cogges Annual Beer & Cider Festival\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout Cogges Annual Beer & Cider Festival\n\n\n\nCogges’ legendary Beer & Cider Festival returns on Saturday 08 August 2026. \n\n\n\nNow rebranded as the Cogges Summer Festival\, the event celebrates not only its impressive selection of craft beers and ciders but also the growing role of live music in making the festival one of the highlights of the Cotswolds’ summer calendar. \n\n\n\nVisitors can look forward to rustic farmyard surroundings\, more than 50 locally produced craft beers and ciders\, delicious food\, and a lively programme of entertainment.  \n\n\n\nThis year’s festival also features the biggest live music lineup in its history\, showcasing some of Oxfordshire’s best bands across multiple performances throughout the day. \n\n\n\nThe festival welcomes families from 12.00pm to 6.00pm\, before becoming an adults-only event from 6.00pm to 10.00pm. \n\n\n\nWhat’s on for 2026\n\n\n\nThe Golden Hour Chill Out ZoneJust Sophie Interiors will transform the Barley Barn into a stylish and relaxing space where visitors can unwind with friends and family throughout the day. \n\n\n\nSummer BarFor those who prefer something other than beer or cider\, the Summer Bar will offer Pimm’s\, wine\, prosecco and a selection of soft drinks. \n\n\n\nXander’s Cocktail BarFestival-goers will also be able to enjoy an expanded drinks menu featuring spirits\, cocktails\, champagne and Aperol Spritz. \n\n\n\nMore Food ChoicesThe Barn Courtyard will become the Food Paddock\, offering an even wider selection of food\, including a picnic stand\, snack stall and the popular Cogges BBQ\, giving visitors plenty of choice throughout the festival. \n\n\n\nMore Evening TicketsFollowing the early sell-out of evening tickets in 2025\, organisers have introduced a revised ticketing system to make more evening-only tickets available\, giving more people the opportunity to enjoy the festival after 6:00pm. \n\n\n\nThe Year of the HorseAs 2026 is the Year of the Horse\, this year’s Cogges Summer Festival is dedicated to Toffee and Treacle\, the attraction’s much-loved resident mother-and-son Shetland ponies. The first theatre was built in 1836\, and a second in 1886. It is now owned by the Ambassador Theatre Group and hosts everything from ballet and opera to musicals. \n\n\n\nOn performance days\, the Box Office opens at noon and closes 15 minutes after the show starts. If there is a performance on a Sunday or Bank Holiday\, Box Office will open 2 hours before the show begins and close 15 minutes after the show starts. \n\n\n\nThere is a large air-conditioned bar with seating located below the Stalls Foyer\, two further bars in the Circle Foyer and an additional one at the back of the balcony.
