SUMMARY:Where Is Mrs Christie
DESCRIPTION:Where Is Mrs Christie?\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout Where Is Mrs Christie\n\n\n\nAgatha Christie was one of the greatest thriller writers of all time and certainly the most prolific. \n\n\n\nIn 1926\, she was at the centre of a mystery as perplexing as any of her fiction\, a series of events which sparked one of the biggest and most extensive police hunts in history. \n\n\n\nHer crashed car was discovered in Surrey\, and the famous author was missing\, presumed dead by many\, for eleven days. However\, she was eventually found at a luxury hotel in Harrogate. \n\n\n\nShe claimed then\, and for the rest of her life\, that she was suffering from amnesia and remembered nothing. Neither the press nor the police believed her. \n\n\n\nActor Liz Grand presents her one-woman show ‘Where Is Mrs Christie?’ Did she suffer from amnesia? Was it a publicity stunt? Or was there a darker secret involved? In true thriller style\, all will be revealed. \n\n\n\n“Liz Grand’s performance in the title role is compelling. SUMMARY:Alfie Moore: A Face for Radio
DESCRIPTION:Alfie Moore: A Face For Radio\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout Alfie Moore: A Face for Radio\n\n\n\nThis is the true story of ‘Fair Cop’ Alfie’s big plan to transition from the BBC radio waves to TV star. Could it be done? Or had Father Time decided that his time had passed? \n\n\n\nSomewhere in a parallel universe\, little Alfie’s natural comedic performance skills were recognised by his doting parents\, who encouraged and developed his blossoming talent. After several years as a stage school brat\, Alfie’s angelic face was launched on stage and screen\, and the rest is history. \n\n\n\nMeanwhile\, in this universe\, Alfie Moore was told to stop messing about in class before being ‘encouraged’ into the grinding\, grimy world of an apprenticeship in the Sheffield steelworks. When the recession hit\, he traded steel for copper by joining Humberside Police. \n\n\n\nThirty years of shift work\, initially in the Sheffield steelworks and then as a copper on the beat (where he was punched in the face quite a lot)\, has left him with “a face for radio”. A face is not so much ‘lived in’ as inhabited by a settlement of squatters with little regard to property maintenance and repair. \n\n\n\nIn his 40s\, a surprising career shift turned middle-aged Alfie from street cop to BBC radio star. But when TV fame beckoned\, could he grasp it\, or was he past it? \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nReviews\n\n\n\n\n“…offbeat\, revealing and very funny.” \nYou Magazine\n\n\n\n\n“…thoroughly engaging\, endlessly funny.” \nMature Times\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTickets\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPlease see important booking information below. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nBooking information\n\n\n\nAge guidance: 14+ \n\n\n\nDuration: 110 minutes\, including an interval. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout Kenton Theatre\n\n\n\n\n \n \n \n \n\n\n\nSituated in the centre of Henley-on-Thames\, the Kenton Theatre is the fourth-oldest working theatre in the UK and a registered charity. SUMMARY:Julian Clary - A Fistful of Clary

Well\, here’s The Man With No Shame. \n\n\n\nJulian Clary\, renowned homosexual and national trinket\, is fixing to saddle up and head on out for his 2024 UK tour. \n\n\n\n“Yes\, it has a Western theme\,” the old buckaroo confirms\, sipping Bourbon from a pint tankard. “It was only a matter of time before I eased myself into some chaps”\, he adds\, dabbing his temples with a damp flannel. \n\n\n\nJulian is sure that the men in the audience will be so eager to join his posse they won’t be able to keep their hands off his Rawhide.  \n\n\n\nThe lucky few will play with him on stage in the Hang ‘em Low saloon\, where Wild Bill Hickok used to meet his special friend\, Raving Clarence la Fruit.  \n\n\n\nBut life in the Old West was tough. Not all of Julian’s wild bunch will be around to witness the final shoot-out that will result in Julian giving himself selflessly at high noon to the last man standing.  \n\n\n\nWho knows what else he’ll do for a few dollars more? \n\n\n\n“A man’s gotta do what a man’s gotta do…” drawls Julian cryptically before becoming engrossed in his embroidery. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n \n \n Julian Clary – A Fistful of Clary at New Theatre Oxford\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nReviews\n\n\n\n\nJulian Clary unleashes a tsunami of smut \nThe Guardian\n\n\n\n\nThe master of camp comedy ….. mixing the expected with the spontaneous\, he is pure entertainment \nThe Times\n\n\n\n\nAdult comedy that makes you giggle like a child \nThe Standard\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTickets\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTickets are subject to a transaction fee. \n\n\n\nSee important booking information below. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nBooking information\n\n\n\nTimes:Doors open 30 minutes before the show starts. \n\n\n\nDuration:This show has an interval. \n\n\n\nAge guidance: 16+No under 5s will be admitted into the venue. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout New Theatre Oxford\n\n\n\n\n \n \n \n \n\n\n\n\n\n \n \n \n \n\n\n\n\n \n \n \n \n\n\n\n\n \n \n \n \n\n\n\n\nThere has been a theatre on George Street for almost 170 years.
