It is now owned by the Ambassador Theatre Group and hosts everything from ballet and opera to musicals. \n\n\n\nOn performance days\, the Box Office opens at noon and closes 15 minutes after the show starts. Image: National Trust/John Hammond\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout Stained glass conservation exhibition at Greys Court\n\n\n\nThis year\, the internationally significant stained glass panes at Greys Court have been conserved for future generations to enjoy. \n\n\n\nFollowing critical conservation work\, which has breathed new life into these precious pieces of history\, visit the new exhibition in the house to examine these stained glass panes and appreciate their intricate details. \n\n\n\nThe panels are displayed in the landing window on the stairs. They were placed in their current location after Sir Felix Brunner bought Greys Court in 1937. They were part of his grandfather’s collection of Swiss ceramics\, furniture and weaponry. \n\n\n\nThe designs are incredibly intricate and feature religious stories in both painted and stained glass. On several of the panels is the heraldic crest of a water fountain on a red background – this is the Brunner family crest. \n\n\n\nThe restoration work involved removing the stained-glass panels and replacing them in the integral structure with clear\, UV light-protecting glass.
