SUMMARY:Exhibition on Screen: Turner and Constable
DESCRIPTION:Exhibition on Screen: Turner and Constable\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout Exhibition on Screen: Turner and Constable\n\n\n\nCelebrating the 250th anniversary of their births\, this unmissable new documentary explores Turner and Constable’s intertwined lives and legacies alongside the groundbreaking Tate exhibition. \n\n\n\nTwo of Britain’s greatest painters\, J.M.W. Turner and John Constable\, were also the greatest of rivals. Born within a year of each other\, both used landscape painting to reflect the changing world around them. \n\n\n\nTate Britain is bringing these two greats together for a groundbreaking exhibition\, in London from November 2025 to April 2026\, and Exhibition on Screen once again has exclusive and privileged access to bring their extraordinary art and remarkable stories to the big screen in February\, so that you can enjoy both film and exhibition together. \n\n\n\nDiscover unexpected sides to both artists with intimate views of sketchbooks and personal items and insights from leading experts. \n\n\n\nTurner’s blazing sunsets and sublime scenes from his travels and Constable’s idealised depictions of beloved places from home whipped the public of the time into a frenzy of enthusiasm. \n\n\n\nConstable represents the very best of the old school of realism and pastoral nostalgia; Turner\, an exciting new way of depicting emotion and dreamlike impressions. Critics compared their starkly different styles to a clash of ‘fire and water’. \n\n\n\nDon’t miss this opportunity to see these greats side-by-side\, as they so often were in life\, on the big screen for the first time. \n\n\n\nDirected by David Bickerstaff \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTickets\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPlease see important booking information below. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nBooking information\n\n\n\nTicket prices: \n\n\n\nStabdard – £18.50 \n\n\n\nUnder 16s – £13.50 \n\n\n\nAll prices include any booking fees \n\n\n\nDates & times: \n\n\n\nSunday 15 March 2026 at 7.00pm \n\n\n\nRunning time: \n\n\n\n1 hour 30 minutes \n\n\n\nFilm rating: \n\n\n\nPG \n\n\n\nLocation: \n\n\n\nThe Theatre \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout The Theatre Chipping Norton\n\n\n\n\n \n \n \n \n\n\n\nThe Theatre Chipping Norton\, sometimes called The Theatre\, Chipping Norton or Chipping Norton Theatre\, is a theatre\, an arthouse cinema\, a gallery and a concert hall in Chipping Norton. \n\n\n\nThe theatre has has 217 seats\, including stalls and a balcony. It is a resource for the community\, and it is also a professional venue\, welcoming over 55\,000 customer visits every year. \n\n\n\nIt is something unique\, but it is also different things to different people. It is the cause and subject of many arguments and debates; and a fair amount of acclaim and affection. It is complicated and a little eccentric. \n\n\n\nIt is not a little theatre. It likes to make a big noise. \n\n\n\nDiscover more about The Theatre Chipping Norton\, including travel\, access and venue information.

SUMMARY:10cc
DESCRIPTION:10cc\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout 10cc\n\n\n\nOne of the UK’s most innovative and influential bands\, 10cc\, have announced their return to the UK concert scene in 2026 with the typically tongue-in-cheek ‘And Another Bloody Greatest Hits Tour’ – celebrating a genre-defying repertoire that continues to captivate audiences across the world. \n\n\n\nExpect a hit-packed setlist including era-defining anthems like ‘Rubber Bullets’\, ‘Donna’\, ‘Art for Art’s Sake’\, ‘Dreadlock Holiday’\, and\, of course\, the eternal ‘I’m Not In Love’ -recently revisited by Gouldman and fellow co-founder Kevin Godley in a moving BBC Radio 2 Piano Room session\, accompanied by the BBC Concert Orchestra to mark the 50th anniversary of their classic album ‘The Original Soundtrack’. \n\n\n\n\n \n \n \n 10cc\n\n\n\n“The tour title is not an expression of exasperation\, but a humorous nod to the fact we’re out doing it again\,” says Gouldman. “We’ve had the Ultimate Greatest Hits Tour\, then the Ultimate Ultimate tour and couldn’t add a third. Our audiences know what to expect – hit after hit after hit\, with a few variations.” \n\n\n\nOpening Act – Andy Park \n\n\n\nMulti-instrumentalist Andy is the only musician in 10cc’s history to stand-in for two band members – Rick Fen and Iain Hornal – on different occasions. SUMMARY:Mark Watson: Before It Overtakes Us
DESCRIPTION:Mark Watson: Before It Overtakes Us\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout Mark Watson: Before It Overtakes Us\n\n\n\nTwenty years in stand up for the ‘Taskmaster’ cheeky texts icon\, multi-award-winner\, YouTube cult figure\, Radio 4 favourite and recently ‘Baby Reindeer’ actor: Watson returns after seasons at the Adelaide\, Melbourne\, Sydney and Edinburgh comedy festivals. \n\n\n\nA recent encounter with a stranger caused Mark to spend some time pondering the uncertain future facing humanity. He explores this – along with equally pressing matters like the worst word he has ever said in public\, the current state of the UK sausage industry\, and much more – in a typically frantic and fun-packed new show. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nReviews\n\n\n\n\n“Quite unlike anything else I’ve seen in almost 20 years of covering the Fringe…witty\, warm\, perfectly judged”. ★★★★★   \n\n\n\nTelegraph \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWatch the trailer\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTickets\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPlease see important booking information below. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nBooking information\n\n\n\nTicket prices: \n\n\n\n£25.00 \n\n\n\nAll prices include any booking fees \n\n\n\nDates & times: \n\n\n\nThursday 19 March 2026 at 7.30pm \n\n\n\nRunning time: \n\n\n\n1 hour 30 minutes \n\n\n\nLocation: \n\n\n\nThe Theatre \n\n\n\nAge guidance: \n\n\n\n14+ \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout The Theatre Chipping Norton\n\n\n\n\n \n \n \n \n\n\n\nThe Theatre Chipping Norton\, sometimes called The Theatre\, Chipping Norton or Chipping Norton Theatre\, is a theatre\, an arthouse cinema\, a gallery and a concert hall in Chipping Norton. \n\n\n\nThe theatre has has 217 seats\, including stalls and a balcony. SUMMARY:1984
DESCRIPTION:1984\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout 1984 \n\n\n\n‘To the future or to the past\, to a time when thought is free: From the age of uniformity\, from the age of Big Brother\, from the age of doublethink… greetings!’ \n\n\n\nAward-winning Box Tale Soup presents a stunning new adaptation of Orwell’s dystopian classic. \n\n\n\nKnown for their ingenious sets and slick storytelling\, Box Tale Soup’s unique puppetry becomes a striking metaphor for Orwell’s chilling vision of power and control. \n\n\n\nThe year is 1984\, perhaps – it is impossible to tell for certain. We are being watched\, Big Brother is everywhere\, truth changes daily\, and everyone conforms. But for Winston Smith\, insignificant cog in the Party’s vast machine\, this half-life is not enough. \n\n\n\nHe dreams of freedom\, but is he the only one? Dreams can be deadly when rebellion begins with a thought. \n\n\n\nFeaturing the voices of Sophie Aldred & Joanna Lumley\, with Simon Russell Beale as the voice of Big Brother. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nReviews\n\n\n\n\nEdinburgh Fringe 2025 Official Sell Out Show “They are wonderful.” \n\n\n\nThe Times \n\n\n\n\n\n“…1984 is their latest triumph.” ★★★★★ \n\n\n\nBroadway Baby \n\n\n\n\n\n“…an incredible feat of storytelling.” ★★★★★ \n\n\n\nStarburst Magazine \n\n\n\n\n\n“thought-provoking\, striking production…” ★★★★★ \n\n\n\nBritish Theatre Guide \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTickets\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPlease see important booking information below. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nBooking information\n\n\n\nTicket prices: \n\n\n\nFull price – £17.00 \n\n\n\nConcessions (Student\, disability\, benefits\, under 16) – £15.30 \n\n\n\nDates & times: \n\n\n\nThursday 19 March 2026 at 7.30pm \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout Cornerstone Arts Centre\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCornerstone Arts Centre is a purpose-built\, professional arts\, culture and entertainment venue in the heart of Didcot\, brought to you by the South Oxfordshire District Council. \n\n\n\nOpened in 2008\, it presents a high-quality programme of live performances\, participatory activities\, exhibitions and outreach work that meet the needs and enhance the experiences of the local community and beyond. \n\n\n\nThe RIBA award-nominated building comprises a 220-seat auditorium\, an art gallery\, a dance studio\, and spaces for workshops and community activities.
