The aim was to produce drawings that worked collectively as well as individually. \n\n\n\nThe artists produced drawings which were then assembled to become full-scale representations of the original paintings. The four assembled collaborative representations are made of fifteen individually drawn sections. Each artist produced their drawings to scale using a variety of drawing and painting media\, with some also working in collage. \n\n\n\nDuring eight months\, over sixty individual project drawings were produced and then assembled into four large drawings representing the original paintings. \n\n\n\nThe finished assembled works are 1:1 representations of the original paintings; two in colour and two in black and white. Some of the artists have also produced additional work referencing the original paintings. \n\n\n\nAt the Ashmolean Museum\, there’s a wonderful opportunity for both families and adults to attend a workshop inspired by the exhibition.
