The market also allows stalls that promote Charlbury’s many activities\, such as the annual Street Fair\, Beer Festival and Children’s Playgroup. \n\n\n\nThe market takes place quarterly – on the 2nd Saturday of March\, June\, September and December. The first theatre was built in 1836\, and a second in 1886. It is now owned by the Ambassador Theatre Group and hosts everything from ballet and opera to musicals. \n\n\n\nOn performance days\, the Box Office opens at noon and closes 15 minutes after the show starts.
