SUMMARY:Josh Berry: Best Man
DESCRIPTION:Josh Berry: Best Man\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout Josh Berry: Best Man\n\n\n\nIt’s clear what toxic masculinity is\, but what does positive masculinity look like in a modern context? \n\n\n\nJosh Berry intends to provide some sort of answer to this question\, through his many impressions and characters\, as he tells the tale of being his best friend’s best man earlier this year. \n\n\n\nFrom routines on how to organise a ‘progressive stag do’\, to the amusing difficulties men seem to face around positive emotional expression\, the show is an opportunity for us to have a ruddy good laugh at a concept that could do with being taken a bit less seriously. There’s also a routine about how much Josh hates runners and refuses to become one. \n\n\n\nN.B. Josh has since entered a half marathon. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTickets\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPlease see important booking information below. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nBooking information\n\n\n\nTicket prices: \n\n\n\n£19.50 \n\n\n\nDates & times: \n\n\n\nFriday 26 September 2025 at 8.00pm \n\n\n\nAge guidance: \n\n\n\n18+ \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout The North Wall Arts Centre\n\n\n\n\n \n \n \n \n\n\n\nThe North Wall Arts Centre is an an award-winning theatre\, gallery and performing arts centre located in Summertown\, North Oxford. SUMMARY:LEVEL 42 - World Machine 40th Anniversary Tour
DESCRIPTION:LEVEL 42 – World Machine 40th Anniversary Tour\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout LEVEL 42 – World Machine 40th Anniversary Tour\n\n\n\nLevel 42 is delighted to announce that they will embark upon The ‘World Machine’ 40th Anniversary Tour in 2025. \n\n\n\n‘World Machine’ was the album that changed everything for Level 42\, and set them on the path to true super-stardom. Released in 1985\, it was a hit both here and in the States\, and has now been certified double Platinum. \n\n\n\nIt was on this album\, the band’s sixth\, that arguably they nailed down the sound and the style that made them one of the biggest groups in the world. On this album\, they refined the funky pop fusion that had grown from their jazz roots – and had already brought them serious success – and truly made it their own. \n\n\n\n‘World Machine’ features the singles Something About You (the band’s only American top 10 hit) and Leaving Me Now\, and it showed the band’s progression in style and confidence that would lead to their massive Running In The Family album the following year. \n\n\n\nLEVEL 42 – World Machine 40th Anniversary Tour\n\n\n\nMark King said\, “I am so excited to be able to announce The ‘World Machine’ 40th Anniversary Tour for 2025. As our amazing fans will know\, World Machine marked a turning point in the band’s career\, not least in the international success the album gave us. So\, I am looking forward to seeing you all out there next Autumn when we can romp through all those songs again together. Love to all\, Mark X”. \n\n\n\nFour decades after the release of ‘World Machine’\, Level 42 is still in demand worldwide. This UK tour celebrates a great album but is also an opportunity to witness one of the most popular and enduring British bands doing what they do best. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTickets\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nBooking information\n\n\n\nTicket Prices:From £41.83 \n\n\n\nTickets are subject to a transaction fee of £3.95. \n\n\n\nDate:Friday 26 September 2025 \n\n\n\nTime:Doors open at 7.00pm \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout New Theatre Oxford\n\n\n\n\n \n \n \n \n\n\n\n\n\n \n \n \n \n\n\n\n\n \n \n \n \n\n\n\n\n \n \n \n \n\n\n\n\nThere has been a theatre on George Street for almost 170 years. SUMMARY:Penned Up
DESCRIPTION:Penned Up\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout Penned Up\n\n\n\nCan words be the great escape? \n\n\n\nWelcome to HMP Ditchfield\, where each week\, a group of prisoners are tasked with writing their own plays. From boxing rings to the Brazilian rainforest\, from tragic pasts to wildly imaginative futures\, these men learn that theatre is more than words on a page – it’s a way to reclaim their voices. But as creativity collides with authority\, tensions rise\, secrets unravel\, and laughter turns to rebellion. \n\n\n\nWitty\, raw\, and full of heart\, Penned Up is a powerful celebration of storytelling\, second chances\, and the unexpected bonds that form behind bars. \n\n\n\nWritten by award-winning playwright Danusia Iwaszko\, who uses her more than 15 years experience of teaching playwriting to prisoners to explore what life is actually like behind bars. \n\n\n\nThink Porridge meets Brassed Off – both a laugh riot and a gut punch. \n\n\n\nSupported by Arts Council England\, Suffolk County Council\, Suffolk Community Foundation\, Synergy Theatre Project\, The Drapers’ Company\, Menagerie\, St Giles. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTickets\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPlease see important booking information below. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nBooking information\n\n\n\nTicket prices: \n\n\n\nStandard – £21.00   \n\n\n\nConcessions – £17.00 \n\n\n\nAll prices include any booking fees \n\n\n\nDates & times: \n\n\n\nMonday 22 September 2025 at 7.30pm \n\n\n\nAge guidance: \n\n\n\n16+ \n\n\n\nLocation: \n\n\n\nThe Theatre \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout The Theatre Chipping Norton\n\n\n\n\n \n \n \n \n\n\n\nThe Theatre Chipping Norton\, sometimes called The Theatre\, Chipping Norton or Chipping Norton Theatre\, is a theatre\, an arthouse cinema\, a gallery and a concert hall in Chipping Norton. \n\n\n\nThe theatre has has 217 seats\, including stalls and a balcony. It is a resource for the community\, and it is also a professional venue\, welcoming over 55\,000 customer visits every year. \n\n\n\nIt is something unique\, but it is also different things to different people. It is the cause and subject of many arguments and debates; and a fair amount of acclaim and affection. It is complicated and a little eccentric. \n\n\n\nIt is not a little theatre. It likes to make a big noise. \n\n\n\nDiscover more about The Theatre Chipping Norton\, including travel\, access and venue information.
