About Cotswolds Distillery

Located in the Cotswolds, in an area of outstanding natural beauty, some 15 odd minutes north of Chipping Norton, the Cotswolds Distillery is the brainchild of Dan Szor – a native New Yorker who had been working in finance in London for many years.

Whisky production is at the heart of everything they do at the distillery. Their flagship Cotswolds Single Malt is a rich, fruity and sippable whisky. It has a balance and depth of flavour that belies its young age due to the exceptional attention to detail in our distilling and our use of the finest oak casks for maturation.

From our Founder’s Choice to our Peated Cask, they have also created single malt whiskies bottled at or near cask strength to provide maximum depth of flavour. All are aged in their wood for the full term, not cask-finished as is commonly practised, and all are based on newly-arrived first-fill casks.

Not often content with sitting still, we have also produced a range of small-batch spirits and liqueurs. Distilled with nine carefully-considered botanicals, their Cotswolds Dry Gin is a London Dry with an aromatic twist. Many others are seasonal runs, available only in the distillery shop, but we have some long-standing favourites too.
