Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Events

Discover a weeklong celebration with events, from Monday 30 May to Sunday 05 June 2022, to mark The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee in Oxford and across Oxfordshire.

On the 06 February of this year, Her Majesty The Queen became the first British monarch to celebrate a Platinum Jubilee, marking 70 years since she acceded the throne.

Events and initiatives have been taking place throughout the past year to celebrate this unprecedented anniversary, culminating in a four day UK Bank Holiday from Thursday 02 to Sunday 05 June.

Discover a weeklong list of events, from Monday 30 May to Sunday 05 June 2022, for people and communities across Oxfordshire to come together to celebrate this historic milestone.

The weeklong itinerary includes public events, community activities and beacon lighting events, as well as moments of reflection on The Queen’s 70 years of service.
