Organisers of the Elementary festival have announced that the event will not return in 2026, following what they described as an “epic” 2025 edition that may have been their favourite yet.
In an update shared with supporters, the team said the decision to pause the festival for a year had been “unbelievably hard”, citing increasing pressures in their personal lives and the significant time and energy required to stage the event.
Rather than returning next year, organisers said they would use the time to recharge and focus on planning a “phenomenal” comeback in 2027.
Despite the hiatus, the team said they are looking forward to meeting festivalgoers at other events throughout 2026 while preparations begin for the festival’s future return.
Elementary is planning a festival for 2025 that is going to be bigger and better than ever before.
Expect a jam-packed lineup stuffed full of some of the funkiest acts with a seriously cultural fusion – amazing musical performances, with some of your old favourites and plenty of new soon-to-be favourites.
There will be more Aboriginal traditional performances and workshops from down under! More vibrant African drumming sessions, more South American ceremonies, more intricate Indian rhythms! In fact so much more of everything you love about this spectacular weekend.
Ram-packed full of sound journeys, cacao ceremony, juggling, jams, yoga, dance, poetry, trance dance meditation, food and workshops galore (of course loads of didgeridoo workshops) …all topped off with banging, crowd WOWSERing nights of musical delights.
Also included will be a whole host of the best sound journeys for your mind, body, and spirit at Braziers Park in Ipsden, near Wallingford.
Spaces include a sauna, healing area, fire pit, Crops-not-Shops, safe kid’s space, bar, cafe, comedy, and a plethora of stunning hand-picked stalls.
You can camp, glamp, or even book a room in the house. Keep fresh with gorgeous hot showers and ecological toilets.
