Enjoy a fun-filled day out this February half term at Blenheim Palace
Hop aboard the miniature train down to the Walled Garden where you can wind your way through the amazing Marlborough Maze and grab a bite to eat at the Walled Garden Pizzeria.
Meet some of the friendly Blenheim Palace sheep in their pop up pens and learn all about how they are cared for. Little nature enthusiasts can make their very own bug home for insects to stay cosy in during the colder months.
Head to Adventure Play for hours of fun and exploring as well as Pip and Posy’s Rainbow Treasure Hunt to follow. For a bit of calm time, come along to one of our Pip and Posy-themed storytelling or friendship bracelet making sessions too.
Explore the 2,000-acre ‘Capability’ Brown landscaped parkland including the Gardens – why not take a winter stroll to see if you can spot any snowdrops peeking through?
Venture through the ancient oak woodland for a longer walk, then download the Blenheim Bird Bingo sheet and try to get a full house of feathered friends, keeping your eyes and ears open for the wonderful wildlife such as deer, muntjacs or even otters as well as red kites, herons, robins, blackbirds and blue tits.
Beyond the Walled Garden
If you’re after even more fun and adventure, head through the secret door in the wall to the Adventure Play, where a whole other world of excitement awaits.
Alongside the watercourse, slides, swings and tunnels, energetic youngsters can stay even more active with the dance sessions led by staff, and mini artists can take part in pebble painting to create their own natural masterpieces. Don’t forget to settle down for the animal-themed storytelling sessions afterwards.
Everyone of all ages can enjoy the excitement of the Adventure Play area – whether you’re zooming along the zip-lines or exploring the twisting tunnels, we want you to have fun and create memories with your loved ones.
Explorers will love playing in all of the different zones of the Adventure Play, from the vegetable patch to the wilderness. Remember to bring your wellies and wet weather gear to splish and splash in the water play, the perfect way to add an extra thrill to your day.

- Making bug houses – 11.15am and 1.30pm daily

- Making friendship bracelets – 12.00pm and 2.45pm
Refuel after a day of play
From Saturday 14 until Sunday 22 February, kids can enjoy 2 slices of margherita or pepperoni pizza and a carton of juice for free alongside any adult main course purchased.
The freshly made woodfired pizzas are cooked to order and are the perfect way to fuel a fun-filled day exploring the Walled Garden and Adventure Play.
