About Drawing Portraits from Photographs
Join award-winning artist and tutor Peter Keegan as he returns to the Norman Bragg Studio to transform it into a working studio and offers a new and exciting range of art classes suitable for all abilities.
Off the back of Peter’s Artist in Residency at the theatre between 2019-2022, where he produced 13 incredible paintings inspired by the life behind the scenes at the theatre (paintings can be viewed along the theatre promenade towards the Norman Bragg Studio) he will be running his popular classes giving you an insight into the practice of an artist.
Ever fancied learning how to draw a portrait? Love the idea of making successful sketches of your friends or family? Join Peter in this structured and enjoyable workshop where he will guide you on the best practices and principles of drawing characterful faces in both pencil and charcoal. Suitable for all abilities (even the complete novice!) and all drawing tools and materials are provided.
