About Templars Shopping Park
Directly opposite Templars Square in Cowley, Templars Shopping Park offers a modern, open-air retail experience designed around convenience and choice. Spanning almost nine acres with over 138,000 square feet of retail space, it brings together some of the UK’s best-known high street names alongside everyday essentials, making it one of Oxford’s most popular out-of-town shopping destinations.
The park’s line-up is anchored by household favourites including Sainsbury’s, Lidl, TK Maxx, Asda Living, Matalan, JD Sports, Halfords, Pets at Home, Poundland, The Works, Deichmann, Costa Coffee and PureGym. Together, they provide everything from weekly food shops and homeware to fashion, fitness, and family essentials. Recent additions such as KFC and a refurbished Lidl have strengthened its offer, keeping the park relevant and appealing to a wide catchment of shoppers.
Accessibility is at the heart of the visitor experience. With 467 free parking spaces—including disabled and parent-and-child bays—located right by the shops, it’s simple to drop in for a quick errand or spend the day browsing. The park is also well served by local bus routes and sits just off Oxford’s Eastern Bypass, making it easy to reach from Headington, Abingdon, Kidlington and beyond.
Open Monday to Saturday from 8.00am to 9.00pm, and Sundays and bank holidays from 10.00am to 6.00pm, the park is built around everyday schedules, offering the flexibility busy households need.
With its mix of big-brand anchors, practical essentials, food and leisure options, Templars Shopping Park is a straightforward and reliable destination — whether you’re restocking the cupboards, refreshing your wardrobe, or fitting in a workout with a coffee afterwards.
