Based on the book of the same name. An autobiographical account of a boyhood in the East End of London from the late 1940s to 1963. Fern Britton describes it as “A hugely entertaining book ….. a great sudsy wallow in the 1950s.”

The delivery is lively and entertaining, containing a mixture of Cockney and Jewish humour.
