Little Explorers at High Lodge Farm


Let little imaginations run wild this summer with a woodland adventure designed for curious young explorers.

Set within the shady woodland of High Lodge Farm near Abingdon, Little Explorers is a nature-based outdoor play experience created especially for children under seven. Running throughout the summer holidays, these relaxed 90-minute sessions encourage children to swap screens for sticks, mud, water and imaginative outdoor play.

Designed to nurture creativity, confidence and a connection with nature, Little Explorers offers a safe and welcoming environment where children can explore at their own pace while enjoying the freedom of the great outdoors.


What to Expect

Children can enjoy a variety of hands-on play stations and activities, including:

  • Water play
  • Straw play
  • Digging and construction zones
  • Gardening activities

Every session is designed to inspire curiosity, encourage exploration and celebrate the simple joys of outdoor childhood adventures.


For Parents and Carers

Little Explorers has been designed with grown-ups in mind too. Parents and carers can relax in the woodland setting with seating, barista coffee and cakes available on-site, while a dedicated softer area provides a comfortable space for those attending with babies and younger siblings.


When

Sessions take place every Monday and Thursday during the summer holidays.

Each session lasts approximately 90 minutes.


Who Is It For?

Little Explorers is primarily aimed at preschool-aged children, although older siblings up to seven years old are welcome to join in the fun.


Tickets

Tickets are £10 per child and include admission for one accompanying adult.

Advance booking is essential as places are limited.
