Six students have graduated from the pilot Careys Construction Campus at Oxford North, a free three-week training course for those aged 17 and over. Supported by SOFEA and partners including Mace, E.ON, and local colleges, the course taught practical construction skills and led to job offers and interviews.

Oxford hotel market strengthens as city ranks joint-second in UK index
Oxford has climbed to joint second place in Colliers’ 2025 UK Hotel Market Index, reflecting strong hotel market fundamentals. The city posted a 9.27% rise in Average Daily Rate (ADR) in 2024 and ranked among the top five for Revenue Per Available Room (RevPAR) growth.
