About Reading Festival 2026
Pepsi MAX Presents Reading & Leeds Festival 2026 are twin music festivals taking place simultaneously over the same UK bank holiday weekend in August 2026.
Along with a huge selection of artists and live music spanning genres across rock, pop, hip hop, grime, dance and indie, fans can also look forward to comedy, arts, cinema, silent discos and funfairs for a fun-filled line-up of programming to enjoy.

Campsites:
- Weekend + Early Entry Ticket holders: Wednesday 26 August 2026 at 6.00pm
- Weekend Ticket holders: Thursday 27 August 2026 at 8.00am
- Campsite is open 24 Hours, individuals can arrive at any time after the above
- Campsite closes at midday Monday 31 August 2026.
If you are leaving and returning after 8.00pm on Sunday evening, don’t forget to get your hand stamped on your way out to be able to return later on.
Arena:
- Friday 28 to Sunday 30 August 2026
- Opening time: 11.00am
- With a day ticket, once you leave you cannot re-enter the arena.
- With a weekend ticket, you can leave and re-enter the arena and campsites.
Age guidance:
All under 16s must be accompanied by an adult ticket holder aged 18 or over who must remain on site throughout the weekend as the under 16-year-old’s guardian. No unaccompanied under 16s are allowed on site. Under 13s (12 years and under) are admitted free but must be accompanied by a paying ticket-holder aged 18 or over at all times. ID may be required upon entry to the event.

Getting there:
Reading Festival is easily accessible via public transport, with shuttle buses running from Reading train station to the festival site. Parking passes are also available for those driving.
Festival village:
Explore food stalls, art installations, and merch stands.
Camping options:
Various camping passes for an immersive weekend experience. Weekend Early Entry Ticket holders can access the campsites from Wednesday 26 August.
