About Bicester Heritage January 2025 Scramble
Start your automotive year in the best way possible with the first Scramble of 2025, taking place at Bicester Heritage on Sunday, 05 January – the home of historic motoring – from 9.00am until 2.00pm.
The Scramble is an opportunity for hundreds of classic vehicle enthusiasts to come together and enjoy a relaxed gathering, outdoors with plenty of space and fresh air, with curated displays and entertainment for all the family.
As well as enjoying the visiting classic cars, motorbikes and other vehicles, you can also glimpse inside the 50 specialist businesses now based at Bicester Heritage, giving you a glimpse behind the doors of more than 50 industry-leading specialists, showrooms and workshops..
Family and dog-friendly, the Scramble is a wonderful way to while away the weekend hours in the company of some spectacular machines, with fresh air aplenty and magnificent machines a guarantee.

Prices:
Passes are £26.00 per person, plus booking fee.
One paid pass per adult (15+).
Children under 15 years of age may attend free of charge, but children (including babies and toddlers) require a pass, which will be checked on entrance into the event.

What are the timings of the event?
The Scramble run from 9.00am until 2.00pm on Sunday 05 January. Please respect neighbours at the venue and be aware of local traffic on arrival and departure at the event.
Do I need to book in advance?
Yes, advance passes only. Tickets are available from Universe and will not be available at the gate.
How much are tickets?
Passes are £26 per person, plus booking fee. Each ticket includes a £1 donation towards StarterMotor, a Bicester Heritage-based charity with the sole intention of putting young enthusiasts in the driving seat. To find out more please visit www.startermotor.co. Children under 15 are free when accompanied by an adult pass holder but do require a pass.
What is the deal for classic vehicles?
Visitors planning to arrive in a pre-1990 classic vehicle will be directed to the forward parking display areas. If you are in a post-1990 vehicle you will use general parking – anyone trying to access the pre-1990 display areas will be politely asked to turn around.
What is the deal for vehicle club members?
Club members are welcome to attend but the organisers do not cater for dedicated parking unless told otherwise.
Do I have to pay for parking?
No, all parking is free.
Do I need to buy a pass for every person in my vehicle?
Yes, everyone needs an individual pass. Children aged four and under are free when accompanied by an adult ticket holder but require a pass.
Can I amend my pass details online?

Which entrances do vehicles use?
Vehicles will be directed by yellow event signs to the gates on Buckingham Road and Skimmingdish Lane. Please follow the event signage.
Can I fly in?
If you would like to arrive via aircraft, contact Bicester Aero.
Which entrance do pedestrians use?
Pedestrians must use the main Bicester Heritage entrance on Buckingham Road, near the roundabout with Skimmingdish Lane, with a pass bought online in advance – there will be no pedestrian passes available on the day.
What can I expect to see at the event?

What catering will be available?
There will be plenty of catering outlets on site, serving hot and cold drinks and several offerings for all dietary requirements.
Are dogs allowed on site?
Yes, well behaved dogs are allowed on site but must be kept on their leads at all times. Please clean up after your dog – bins are provided on site and do remember that vehicles will be moving around and the airfield is active.
Is there any readmission?
No, sorry, there is no readmission if you leave the site during the event.
Do you provide passes for disabled visitor carers or assistants?
If you are disabled and require full-time assistance, the organisers are happy to provide a free pass for your care assistant, partner or accompanying friend. In order to receive this free pass, please provide a copy of your most recent DLA or PIP letter showing your current entitlement as well as your blue badge, should you require car parking on site, to events@bicestermotion.com.
What disabled facilities are available?
There is a dedicated disabled parking area close to the event entrance. There is also a disabled toilet on site.
Are mobility vehicles available on site?
Event Mobility (Charitable Incorporated Organisation) will be providing electric mobility scooters and manual wheelchairs at this event for the use of mobility impaired, disabled and elderly visitors.

Online bookings must be made 2 days before the event.
Bookings cannot be taken during the event. If there is spare equipment available at the event it is offered on a first come, first served basis only.

Do you have ATMs at Bicester Heritage?
Sadly not, but there are plenty nearby in surrounding Bicester and at neighbouring petrol stations and supermarkets. Don’t forget to stop on your way to the Scramble!
