John Bishop has announced a 57-date live tour in 2024, entitled Back At It, with confirmed dates for New Theatre Oxford.
It will be his first tour in two years, during which time he has hosted the Three Little Words podcast and performed in the Mother Goose pantomime opposite Sir Ian Kellan.
The comic said he was delighted to be back doing stand-up, adding: ‘I did a few gigs in New York and some over in Ireland and I’ve got the juices flowing again.’
The tour kicks off in Bromley on Saturday, 09 March 2024 and includes two nights at the London Palladium. John will grace New Theatre Oxford with his presence on Thursday, 14 and Friday, 15 November 2024.
Pre-sale tickets open for members on Wednesday, and general tickets go on sale at 10.00am on Friday.
Announcing the new tour, the stand-up comic said: “I’m delighted to be hitting the road again with my new show, ‘Back At It’. I did a few gigs in New York and some over in Ireland and I’ve got the juices flowing again! I’m looking forward to seeing you all out there on the road.”
John has achieved huge success with a number of his own comedy, entertainment and documentary shows, including John Bishop’s Australia (BBC1), John Bishop’s Britain (BBC1); John Bishop’s Only Joking (Sky1); The John Bishop Show (BBC1); The John Bishop Christmas Show (BBC1) and John Bishop’s Gorilla Adventure (ITV1).
John more recently enjoyed a four-month tour of the UK and Ireland of Mother Goose with Ian McKellen, following a largely successful run in London’s booming West End.
