About Fresh From the Fringe – Pete Heat & Mary O’Connell

Mark Watson’s production company Impatient presents two of the 2023 Edinburgh Fringe’s most successful shows, hand-picked by the ‘Taskmaster’ star himself.

Pete Heat’s is a magic show like no other, which bridged the gap between trickery and comedy, selling out the run in the Pleasance, Edinburgh’s most prestigious comedy spot. Stylish, unconventional and absolutely confounding, Pete’s show will smash your brain into tiny little pieces and then, hopefully, put them back together again.

Mary O’Connell has had a stellar 2023, winning the first-ever OnlyFans Creative Fund for Comedy – the biggest comedy cash prize ever awarded in the UK – and went on to enjoy one of the best debut seasons at the Fringe this year, attracting widespread TV interest and rapturous reviews. A superb combination of rising talents; see them close-up in Henley while you can.
