About Dantastic Summer Camp

Join Kenton Theatre’s panto comic Dan Whitley (aka Dantastic) and his team for an action-packed summer holiday adventure at the Kenton Theatre. Great for ages 4-8!

Your child will make new friends, be creative, stay active, and of course, have lots of fun with a variety of activities.

At the end of the week on Friday at 2.30pm, the kids will perform in a mini-musical performance on the Kenton theatre stage for family and friends to watch!

Our summer camp runs from 9am-3pm, Monday – Friday.

All entertainers and camp leaders are DBS-checked, fully trained, and PLI-insured. There will also be a first aider onsite at all times.

Tickets prices:

  • Full week – £200 (£170 siblings)
  • By the day – £50 per day (£42 siblings)
  • Early bird 15% discount until 31 March
  • Full-week bookings are at a discounted price and can be purchased on the link for Monday 11th August only.
  • Please note that your child must be booked in for Friday 15th August to take part in the mini-show performance for family and friends at 2.30pm.

About Kenton Theatre

Situated in the centre of Henley-on-Thames, the Kenton Theatre is the fourth-oldest working theatre in the UK and a registered charity. Seating 240, the theatre today offers a varied programme of comedy, drama, music, talks and more – as well as being available for hire.

The theatre is home to annual performances from Henley Amateur Operatic and Drama Society (HAODS), Henley Children’s Theatre, Henley Drama Festival, Henley Literary Festival, Henley Players, Henley Youth Festival, Mike Hurst, the National Youth Jazz Orchestra (NYJO), Woodley Light Operatic Society, amongst others. High-profile performers at the Kenton in recent years include Michael McIntyre, Georgie Fame, Haley Mills, Chris Barber, Dara O’Briain, Diana Rigg, Russell Brand, PP Arnold and Marti Webb.

The theatre’s first production, the farce The School of Reform took place on 07 November 1805. Celebrated performers who have graced the Kenton stage over the last five decades include Celia Johnson, John Mortimer, Anthony Newley, Kate Winslet, Tom Baker, Joe Brown, Diana Dors, David Essex, Roy Hudd and Jeremy Irons.
