About Men Speak Up – A Men’s Mental Health Evening

Too many men suffer in silence, believing that talking about mental health is a weakness. This event with Philip Briscoe who lives in Oxfordshire and is the man behind the podcast Mid-Life Men, is about changing that narrative and proving that speaking up is powerful, transformative, and can save lives.

Join Philip and a special guest, for a powerful evening of real-life stories, live interviews, inspiring talks, and live music, designed to spark honest conversations about mental health.

Don’t wait. Be part of the change.

Special Guests include:

  • Ben Smith, the inspirational endurance athlete who battled bullying and depression to complete 401 marathons in 401 days.
  • John Houston, co-founder of The Cornermen at The South Moreton Boxing Club, a men’s mental health and suicide prevention charity.
  • On-stage interviews with James Grimes (overcoming gambling addiction), and Jeff Moore (battling depression) sharing their lived experiences.
  • Live Music from The Cornermen.
